 | Away from it all ...
These luxury cottages have been created through the sympathetic conversion of a red-brick Georgian barn. Located on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, they are an ideal "away from it all" escape to a quiet corner of rural England. For those seeking peace and seclusion it would be hard to find a pleasanter spot. On the other hand, first-time visitors will be agreeably surprised at how much there is to do and see in Lincolnshire and its neighbouring counties.
Meadows and Woodland
Each cottage has its own colourful patio garden with panoramic views of rolling meadows and woodland. Within the grounds are a croquet lawn, delightful picnic and barbecue areas and a nature trail through private woods. A particular advantage offered to guests is the opportunity to enjoy fly fishing in the peaceful setting of a private lake. Access to first-class golf and riding facilities is available nearby at modest fees. |

 | Ideal Base
Old Barn Cottages offer an ideal base from which to visit picturesque villages and unspoilt countryside. Quiet country roads across the Wolds lead to the Lincolnshire coast with its wide, safe, sandy beaches and such popular resorts as Mablethorpe and Skegness. Historic Lincoln City (15 miles) is also easy to get to - the hilltop cathedral is clearly visible from the cottages. Other nearby attractions include the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby, numerous stately homes, country parks and wild-life sanctuaries. |
