The historic Port of Porthleven is approx 2 miles away where you can go on fishing trips, play tennis or just relax in one of the many cafés and pubs overlooking the harbour. Also within this village there is a small supermarket, shops and restaurants. |

 | The charming market town of Helston approx 2 miles away has a museum, shops, cafés, pubs, swimming pool, boating lake and the famous Flambards Theme park. The town also has a cinema and night club. A few minutes drive out of Helston is the Seal Sanctuary which is situated in the village of Gweek, this is where the rehabilitation of the coasts injured seals takes place.
St Ives, Penzance and Newlyn are each about 25 minutes away. The coast has many sandy beaches which are great for surfing, swimming and sunbathing. On the way to Penzance from the property you come across the ancient market town of Marazion which is famous for St Michael's Mount (national trust) which can be accessed by regular ferry or if the tide is out it can be reached on foot via the causeway. Once on the mount you can walk around the gardens and the castle. The world famous Minack outdoor theatre carved in the cliffs of Porthcurno is a must for all visitors, an experience not to be missed. |
