 | Ideally located for walking the Jurassic Coastline, taking in places like Beer, Lyme Regis, Seaton, Branscombe and Sidmouth. The Otter Estuary Nature Reserve is 20 minutes walk along the promenade and has abundant birdlife, together with a hide on either side of the river. There are paths to Otterton (2 miles) where the mill still grinds flour, and there is an excellent bakery, restaurant and craft gallery. The stunning botanical gardens at Bicton Park (3 miles) are complete with miniature railway. Exeter (10 miles) has a museum, underground passages, cathedral, while many other attractions are within easy reach. |
