| Price of Peace was built in 1930 by Lord Marchamley especially as a fishing lodge and is located just a few hundred yards from where the popular BBC programme "Spring Watch" with Bill Oddie and Kate Humble is filmed. Riverside Cabin itself was only built in 2008 and is a self catering Scandinavian log cabin offering very comfortable accommodation. |  |
 | There are many local walks and cycle tracks to enjoy such as the Tarka Trail and the Ruby Trail and Dartmoor is also within easy reach providing even more walking opportunities amongst rugged breathtaking scenery. Here you can enjoy fresh air, exercise, wildlife, beautiful surroundings and sample wonderful local produce either at one of the many good pubs or at home in your cabin. Fly Fishing can be arranged on the river for fishermen or you can try your hand at Coarse Fishing on nearby lakes. There is also horse riding, archery a leisure centre, tennis courts and many other outdoor pursuits nearby to enjoy. |
