Located in the peaceful countryside of Ashcombe, about a mile and a half along small country lanes north of Dawlish. An ideal place for walkers, bikers, birdwatchers, or anyone just wanting to get away from it all. We moved here from London in 2002 and have no regrets! We are at the top of a hill with spectacular views across the Exe estuary and out to sea looking down towards Dawlish Warren nature reserve, famed for it's huge variety of seabirds. Dawlish Warren was recently voted number 5 in the top UK beaches. There are some lovely walks in the immediate area. We are less than 2 miles from the SW coast path or half an hour's drive from Dartmoor. |
THE GUEST CABIN The cabin situated in our garden is completely self-contained and is the perfect place for a relaxing break at any time of year. Ideal for a couple, but there's room for a child's bed or travel cot if required. It contains a large and comfortable double bed, plus en-suite newly refurbished shower room. There is a small kitchen with a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave oven/grill (there is no standard cooker). A TV and radio are provided. There is a patio with a picnic table outside the cabin door. We have a large secluded garden where you can relax and sunbathe, with a great variety of birdlife. There are spectacular views out to sea, down to the Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve and across the Exe estuary towards Exmouth and Lympstone. |

Tariff includes heating, bed made up on arrival and welcome pack with fresh milk, tea, coffee and sugar. The kitchen is fully equipped including washing up items and tea towels. In case you need to keep in touch, we have good mobile phone reception here. The cabin is a no smoking zone, but you are welcome to smoke out in the garden. |
