 | The Collingdale Hotel in Ilfracombe is a splendid six storey Victorian residence, beautifully situated with miles of uninterrupted views across the harbour and magnificent coastline scenery of Hillsborough Nature Reserve. We are only a few minutes walk from the beach, harbour and town centre; Lundy Island is just a short boat trip away by the supply vessel M.S. Oldenburg, with regular sailings from Ilfracombe, while the dramatic coastal and moorland reaches of Exmoor National Park are readily accessible by car.
The Collingdale is tastefully furnished to a high specification and our comfortable guest lounge provides a pleasant relaxed atmosphere to sit and read, watch television or enjoy the splendid scenery
Our gallery dining room displaying original paintings by local artists, serves freshly prepared and carefully presented home cooked cuisine; using locally farmed produce as available. The dining room leads to our sun terrace over-looking the harbour. |
Bedrooms
All bedrooms at the Collingdale are strictly non-smoking.
We have nine bedrooms available at the Collingdale most of which have sea views, apart from the larger family rooms which enjoy views of the wooded area opposite the hotel. They are all en-suite and furnished to a high standard. They all have beverage making facilities, colour TV, radio alarm clock & hairdryer in each room. A separate bathroom is also available.

Our spacious dining room which leads to the sun terrace also has wonderful sea views. Our delicious home cooked cuisine is freshly prepared each day using locally sourced produce wherever possible and will satisfy the heartiest of appetites. We also have a varied and reasonably priced wine list to choose from.

Delightfully cosy and well stocked our bar provides the perfect spot for an enjoyable evening with your hosts and other guests. A bar snack menu is also available.
