The historic village of Cerne Abbas has been voted one of the prettiest in the country and offers several public houses, a tea room and village stores. It is also home to the famous 180 foot Cerne Giant, carved centuries ago into the hillside.
Nearby are several historical towns such as Sherborne, Shaftesbury and Dorchester. Within a short driving distance is the beautiful Jurassic coastline. Golf, horseriding, watersports, beaches and good walking are all within a few miles. |
