From the double bedroom, you can see across the valley to Kirkhead Tower.
There are also two twin bedrooms (one with bunk beds), and a proper fold-out double sofa-bed in the sitting room.

Summer Cottage has a very spacious kitchen-diner with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc and an equally spacious sitting room with a real fire if it’s cold, or you can relax at the end of the day on the balcony and enjoy the spectacular views. There is also a TV and DVD with many films,
We have also provided many board games and enough packs of cards for Racing Demon if the weather is too bad to go out.

 | The back garden has a barbeque and garden furniture, and a small shallow stream running along the end which our children love paddling in. If you look carefully, you can sometimes see the brown trout! Summer Cottage is set in secluded private grounds far from traffic, which makes it very safe for children, yet it’s only a five minute walk to the local pub or a five minute drive into Cartmel (home of Sticky Toffee Pudding and Cartmel Race Course) or Grange-over-Sands, where there are many other pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. |
