 | The Montpelier is a small family run B&B offering clean affordable accommodation which is situated on the first and second floor of the property, giving it the advantage of overlooking Sandown Bay. We have seven letting rooms, most with sea views, comprising of doubles, twins, a single and family rooms, one a very spacious 35'x12' so the kids aren't under your feet. They are all en-suite except for the single which has it's own private facilities across the landing. All rooms have a colour TV, alarm clock/radio, table and chairs, fridge, tea/coffee making and more than ample wardrobe and drawer space so there's no having to live out of a suitcase. Guests have their own keys so they can come and go as they please anytime of the day or night and there's no knocking on your door at the crack of dawn to clean your room we see to it when you want if you want and with quilts on the beds most guests like their privacy. The accommodation all start on the first floor, with 15 steps leading to our front door and is situated on 2 floors. All rooms with the exception of the single room have en-suite showers they all have a table & chairs, TV, alarm/clock radio, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and all have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, there's no living out of your suitcase whilst you're here.
On the first floor we have rooms 1,2 &3. No.1 is a very large double, more like a suite with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space in one area then through an arch down one small step to a sitting area with sofa, coffee table and TV. This room has a large window looking out to sea and the guest sun deck. Leading off the bedroom is the large en-suite.

Room no. 4 is a very large family approx. 4mtrs X 11mtrs in 2 parts. The main area has the double bed and table & chairs etc looking out over the pier and out to sea, fantastic views. Through a door way at the rear of the room and down 2 steps we have a bedroom with 2 singles and the en-suite, an extra guest bed can be put in here if needed.
Room no.5 is a single it has fantastic views overlooking the pier and beach it has it's own private shower room across the landing which is only used by this room and is lockable

Sandown is sign posted from the ferry terminals and are easy to follow once in Sandown follow the signs for the Esplanade and pier which will either bring you down Melville St where you go straight across at the junction with the High St and Beachfield Rd into Pier St where we are approx. 30 mtrs down on the left, at the end of the first building.
