Over the last ten years the proprietors Joan and Phil Butterworth have undertaken a major refurbishment of the existing building, constructed a superb conference and function suite, and built ground floor courtyard bedrooms ideal for persons with disabilities or find climbing stairs more difficult. |
Accomodation
All bedrooms are en suite and have the usual facilities you would expect from a country house hotel. (TV, Tea and coffee making facilities, Hair dryer, Direct dial telephones).
Rooms vary from being double, twin or single and three family rooms are also available.
For that special occasion there are luxury bedrooms with views over the Lorton valley, a beautiful four poster bedroom, and the splendid honeymoon suite with its own private balcony overlooking our paddocks.
All the rooms within the hotel are on the first and second floors.
Within' the courtyard at the side of the hotel has one bedroom specifically designed for persons with disabilities this being a twin bedded room. The courtyard area also contains our honeymoon suite and luxury bedrooms perfect for a quiet getaway. |  |

Our comfortable dining room offers a fine selection of home cooked food prepared to your liking. The food is traditional and varied and the portions are not for the faint hearted.
The menu changes daily and reservations are recommended to confirm your table.
Sunday lunches are a big local favourite and again the food is traditional and plentiful.
Children are welcome, with a wide selection of meals to choose from.
Bar Lounge
The bar carries a wide range of traditional cask ales, lagers and spirits etc, and are renown through out the area for our selection of fine malt whiskies.
With over one hundred malt whiskies between ten to thirty years old to choose from you'll soon find one to suit your taste.
The bar meal menu is constantly updated to offer a fine choice of starters and main courses. |
