Within easy reach are Bassenthwaite Lake, pretty Crummock Water, Buttermere and the fells of Skiddaw and Grisedale Pike. Nearest Shop, Pub and Restaurant 2 miles. Supermarket 5 miles. |

Location
From M6 exit Junction 40, follow A66 and bypass Keswick.
At the roundabout, turn right onto the A591, signposted Carlisle.
After 12 miles you reach Bothel, turn left on the A595 towards Cockermouth.
Take the next left turn signposted ‘Sunderland’.
Threapland Moss is the first house on the right.
