 | Beech Hill House at Witherslack is the family home of Jenny and Stuart Stott. Once two cottages it was turned into a four bedroom bungalow and in 1987 when Stuart bought the bungalow it was enlarged and converted into a four bedroom family detached home.
The house is situated just off the A590 at Witherslack. With junction 36 of the M6 motorway only being an 8 minute drive away the house is perfect for those travelling to and from Scotland who are looking for somewhere to stop-over and break their journey.
The house, being where it is makes a welcome break for those walking the Cumbrian Coastal Way.
Enjoy a stroll around the gardens, which are a mixture of landscaped areas mingled with the natural rocky areas located around the house.
Whatever the season, whether it be Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter the house is in an ideal location for visiting the Lake District, the Furness Peninsula, North Lancashire and the area leading into the Yorkshire Dales. |
Rooms
Room 1 Superior king size bedded room with its own private balcony containing table
and chairs with steps leading into a private part of the garden. Tastefully designed and furnished with your comfort in mind. Dual aspect views overlooking the gardens
and surrounding countryside. Sit and relax on the private balcony and enjoy a cool refreshing drink. Steps from the balcony lead into a private garden by the side of the house and from there, there is access to the drive.
Room 2 is our versatile south facing family room. Having both a double and a single bed it can be used as a double, twin or family room. With the addition of our folding guest bed it can also accommodate another child between 5 and 14 years of age. Individually decorated to a high standard it has dual aspect views overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside, is a non-smoking bedroom and has an en-suite shower room. The shower room contains a walk in shower heated towel rail, toilet and wash hand basin. |  |

Using as much locally sourced produce as we can why not start the day
with one of our tasty full English Lakeland breakfasts, vegetarian
breakfast, light bite or perhaps a contintental breakfast served with
a pot of tea or cafetier of coffee in the conservatory.
Breakfast is served:
8.00am to 8.30am on weekdays
8.00am to 9.00am at weekends
Early breakfasts are available by arrangement.
Assorted breads along with a toaster are there to make your own
toast when you want it, the way you like it and as much as you want.
A kettle is also available for those wishing to try one of our herbal or fruit
teas or one of the assorted drinking chocolates on display. |
