Ghillie’s View is the former accommodation of the estate ghillie, who looked after the fishing rights of the Waren Lea Hall Estate to the river and the bay, which included salmon and sea trout runs on the River Waren. Reached through its own entrance, the delightful accommodation is all on a single floor. It has luxurious furnishings throughout, and polished wooden floors to the hall and reception rooms. The fully equipped kitchen/dining room combines modem kitchen facilities with traditional pine furniture. The semi-circular drawing room incorporates part of the old circular pele tower which has been here since the 18th century. The french windows open onto a balcony, perfect for watching the sunset over the bay. The Master bedroom has a four-poster bed and a en-suite shower room.  | Garden Cottage forms the terrace wing of Waren Lea Hall and is set beneath the terrace with all rooms facing the secluded walled garden. With large windows, the cosy cottage is very light and sunny. Reached through its own entrance from the garden, the accommodation is on a single floor, with a comfortable living room with double windows and a well-equipped small kitchen/dining room. Looking out over the garden there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, one with an en-suite bathroom, and a family shower room with wc and basin. It is very prettily furnished with high quality fabrics, pine furniture and polished wooden floors throughout. Guests in Garden Cottage have the use of the large walled garden. |
