 | The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout included in the price however electricity is metered and pound coins are needed. There is ample parking spaces in the enclosed Coach House yard which is surrounded by lawned gardens and a childrens play area and sand pit. At the rear of the cottage there is a private garden overlooking open fields, equipped with patio, barbecue and garden furniture. Fresh milk and eggs, home-made bread and cakes are available as well as a warm welcome from Nigel who meets you on your arrival with your door key. |
On the Ground floor of the cottage is a large dining/kitchen with automatic washing machine and dryer. There is an electric hob and oven, a microwave, fridge and ice box. The lounge which is extremely cosy has an open fire with your first bag of coal free, there are more available on request. There are Wooden beams, colour television, video and modern music centre also included. |  |
 | One the first floor we have one double bedroom and one with full size bunk beds which can be used as 2 singles. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people but we also have a full size temporary bed for an extra person if needed. A fully equipped bathroom with shower over the bath is also situated on the first floor.
The Peak District has many interesting places to visit. Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Buxton are all only a short drive away. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the new Peak Village at Rowsley, are all nearby in the Peak National Park.
Explore the local villages of Winster, Tissington, Castleton, Eyam. Matlock Bath with its Mining Museum and Crich Tramway Museum are also worth visiting.
Carsington Water, Alton Towers and the American Adventure are just an hour's drive away.

Tariff Prices vary from £130 to £390 per week Saturday to Saturday arrivals Arrive after 2pm onwards and leaving by 10am unless previous arrangements have been made. Short breaks and week-ends can also be booked in the Low Season only. Prices will vary throughout the year depending on low season/high season/Bank Holidays, etc

Location Matlock Peak District Leave the M1 at Junction 28 and take the A38. Then take the A615 to Alfreton and then the A61 to Ripley. Turn right onto the A610 towards Ambergate and then turn right onto the A6 and proceed to Cromford. Turn left then after about 200 yards turn right onto the A5012. Continue for about 5 miles to Grange Mill. Turn left opposite the Hollybush Inn on the B5056. After 100 yds turn right up the lane to Aldwark. Keep left-the cottage is at the top of the village
