 | Rowantreebank is a pretty and friendly family run Bed & Breakfast set in the village of Arrochar on the shores of Loch Long. We are only a 40 minute drive from Glasgow and 5 minutes from Loch Lomond, making our 200 year old cottage a perfect base for touring, walking, golf, fishing and many other outdoor pursuits. We are situated in the middle of the village only 100 yards from the shop and Post Office and only 200 yards from 2 restaurants and the pub.
We have an excellent arrangement with the Loch Long Hotel - where our guests can have a four course meal - normally costing £16.95, but if pre-booked through us, only costing you £7.95.
Rowantreebank prides itself on our substantial Scottish breakfast called 'The Cobbler' by many of the guests - you will need to see it to believe it! We also have a good choice of other breakfasts including vegetarian, Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or continental. |
Rowantreebank has six tastefully decorated rooms - five of which have en-suite facilities with the single room having its own private bathroom. Five of the bedrooms have views overlooking the loch. Tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock, hairdryer, T.V. and many other comforts are available in all rooms.
We cater for families with two family rooms and plenty of outdoor space to play in. We can cater for guests with dogs by prior arrangement. We have a downstairs room available for those with limited mobility.
