 | Hello and welcome to Tweedsmuir Cottage.
The Cottage can accommodate up to six people, and has a private decked area and garden. Each bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom, and there is underfloor heating throughout. The Cottage forms part of a former telephone exchange and was just converted in 2006, so everything is new and fresh!
It is situated beside the famous River Tweed and is surrounded by hills and fields. Each room has a wonderful view up the valley. You can literally count sheep to get to sleep or enjoy looking at the stars from your bed! |
Tweedsmuir Cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/living area, as well as a large decked area and private garden. There is space for up to four people to sleep comfortably, with a pull out sofa-bed in the living area that can sleep two. Parking is provided for up to three cars, and bikes etc are welcome to be stored in our spacious shed.

 | Kitchen / Living area
The kitchen/living area is the communal area of the cottage, with a spacious kitchen, oven and gas hobs, dishwasher, a washing machine (that is also a dryer), and large fridge/freezer. The living area includes a large TV with Sky "Family Pack". This includes all the best channels available on Sky. There is also a DVD player and a CD/Radio. The sofa can also be turned into a bed and can happily sleep two.
The cottage is a great base to explore Scotland. Although situated in the heart of the country, there are excellent road links to Edinburgh (45 mins), and Glasgow (90 mins) whilst the English Lake District is only 90 minutes away. |
