 | Majestically situated in the Scottish Highlands, within 5 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, Glenspean Lodge has for many years, been a famous landmark in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Originally, built in the 1880s as a private hunting lodge, for Laird Macintosh of Macintosh, the property has been sensitively added to over the years and extensively refurbished. Today, the Lodge can be described as classically luxurious with modern amenities, to meet standards of even the most demanding guest.
Our aim is to make you feel as welcome, relaxed and comfortable as possible during your stay with us at the Glenspean Lodge. |
Our 17 Bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms with shower facilities. We consider our Mountain View bedrooms to be some of the most spacious rooms you would hope to find in Scotland. The rooms are all quite individually furnished and decorated. Some are with double beds and some with 2 single beds (twin bedded rooms). The rooms to the front of the building are generally larger and have great views of the Spean Valley, hills and mountain range.
No matter which room you stay in, all are extremely well equipped with:
• direct dialling telephones • data ports • colour satellite television • tea & coffee making facilities • hairdryers and toiletries for your use | |
 | Dine in our award winning AA rosette dining room, which has been recently refurbished. Our two resident chefs are now in their second season, and having received much praise for their outstanding cuisine last season are all set to thrill you with their new menus for the coming year.
The Nevis View Restaurant occupies the most scenic area of the Lodge and has outstanding views down the Spean Valley to Aonach Mor, the Nevis Range and beyond.
Breakfast for Guests, which is a traditional full Scottish breakfast, is served in the Nevis View Restaurant. As many of our guests have to ready themselves for a busy day sightseeing, climbing or other sporting activities, we have to ensure that they are properly prepared.
In the evening, the elegantly furnished Nevis View Restaurant is reserved for more formal dining. The Dinner menu offers an excellent choice, with occasional Chef specials, for a la carte and set menu dining. |
