 | Orchard Cottage This modern 2 bedroom cottage has gained four star rating from Scottish Tourist Board. It is situated within the walled garden area of our grounds, facing south/west and looking over to the pond area. Orchard Cottage has been designed to accommodate comfortably assisted disabled visitors as well as able bodied. We have a twin bedded room and full bathroom with separate shower on the ground floor, the bathroom is large to enable ease of movement, we can also supply personal aids to help with mobility, please ask for details should you require these. All downstairs floors are hard natural flooring with rugs which can be removed if necessary, we also have a high seated chair for the less able. We have recently added a Garden Room extension which has a vaulted ceiling and floors in solid oak. This has a slated roof and is fully heated for all year round use giving lots of extra living space, ideal for entertaining family or friends. |
Stable Cottage This one bedroom detached traditional Cottage is south facing catching all day sun. It looks up to Huntingtower Castle and has a courtyard area at the front and a secluded and enclosed rear garden with outdoor seating and barbecue. Ample private and secure parking to the door and full gas central heating.
Inside is a large Lounge with modern flame electric fire, full double bed sized leather bed-settee, Satellite TV and DVD, pleasantly fitted Dining/Kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer. Fully tiled Bathroom with recently fitted suite incorporating luxury 'Shower Bath', double bedroom with storage and ample room for a folding bed or cot, which we can supply free of charge if required. |  |
 | Cottages are open all year round and short breaks are taken from November until March, we normally book Saturday to Saturday in summer but can be flexible, should you have a special requirement just ask. Perth is a thriving and beautiful city, situated in the very heart of Scotland; all major Scottish cities are within a 2 hour drive and easily within daily visiting range. There is much to see and do in the local area, Perth is famed for its gardens and floral displays in season, with abundant golf courses close by, Gleneagles around 20 minutes and St Andrews well within an hours drive. Fishing on the famous River Tay and in many other local locations, we are convenient for Skiing and Shooting during winter and many summer attractions including Highland Games and Agricultural Shows. We have Horse Racing at Scone Palace from April until September and also the famous Game Fair held annually. |
