9 Warrior Square has been used as a guest house since it was built in 1855. The first owner was Elizabeth Shakespeare, and any historians may like to know that we are three doors down from Bumptious Mansions—ex holiday residence of Benjamin Disraeli. Three doors in the opposite direction, on the corner of Warrior Square and the sea front, is what used to be the East Sussex Gentleman's club.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 8.00 and 9.00am.
Our breakfasts are home cooked using fresh ingredients and, within the boundaries of the traditional English breakfast menu we try to provide as much variety of possible. Vegetarian options are always available; other dietary needs can also be catered for with a little advanced notice.

Hastings House a regency building overlooks picturesque Warrior Square gardens, the beach and Hastings pier.
The Warrior Square British rail mainline station is near the guest house. Hastings town centre is only a short stroll from the accommodation, and the seafront is only 50 meters away.
The pier, which can be seen in the picture taken from the building (top right), White rock theatre and other tourist attractions are close by and there are many excellent restaurants bars and cafes a few minutes walk away.
Clean, cosy and comfortable, Hastings House offers a selection of rooms: Single, Doubles, Twin and Family rooms.
