The seaside town of Barmouth has much to offer from a golden sandy blue flag beach that stretches for miles to beautiful views of the Cader Idris mountain range, Barmouth bridge and the Mawddach estuary.
Barmouth is an ideal base to explore Snowdonia wherever your interests lie. Activities in the area include mountain biking at the famous Coed y Brenin forest park or you can take a more leisurely ride along the Mawddach Trail across Barmouth bridge. For the more adventurous there are all kinds of water sports including white water rafting at the International Whitewater Centre at Tryweryn near Bala. There are golf courses in Aberdovey, Dolgellau and the Royal St David's in Harlech. |
