 | Tir y Coed Country House is surrounded by an acre of mature landscaped gardens on the edge of one of the Conwy Valley's most delightful villages and lies just within the boundary of the Snowdonia National Park. The house has eight tastefully decorated and furnished bedrooms, including one at garden level, and most enjoy magnificent views over the garden to the picturesque hills beyond.
Each of the rooms has either an en-suite bathroom or shower room, together with a range of features, including colour television, hospitality tray, clock radio, hair dryer etc, intended to enhance the comfort and the well being of our guests.
The South and West facing lounge is light and airy and provides a pleasant and comfortable area in which to relax.
The high quality meals are served in our attractive non smoking dining room and combine the best in traditional cooking with innovative ideas and can be complemented by wine chosen from a small but well balanced wine list. The area abounds in things to do and see, ranging from pre-historic sites, castles and stately homes, slate and copper mines and narrow gauge railways to unspoiled countrysideand formal gardens - the National Trust's Bodnant Garden is only about three miles away. For the active, there is within easy reach golf, pony trekking, water sports, sea and fresh water fishing, a dry ski slope, climbing and walking, including numerous walks starting from the hotel |
