 | Recently restored, this delightful 17th century farmhouse lies within the Cranborne Chase AONB - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nestling under the old Fonthill Abbey beacon, the house is built in local stone and has beams, inglenooks and light sunny rooms. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable, furnished with antiques and you will have your own private bathroom, one with a whirlpool.
Alternatively you can choose to stay in our Old Piggery just across the lawn. This is self contained with an en-suite shower room and fully equipped kitchen. Even in such an historic house, wireless broadband is available.
We will welcome you with tea or coffee. In the morning, you will have a full English breakfast or an inadequate continental snack. It's up to you! For an evening meal, there are some excellent local pubs and restaurants, all within 6 miles. |

The French Room in the house sharing a private bathroom with the Family Room - large 5 foot double bed.
The Family Room in the house sharing a private bathroom with the French Room - 6 foot double OR 2 twin beds plus futon plus sofabed for children. A cot is also available.
The Piggery Room with en-suite shower room and self contained kitchen - large double bed plus single sofabed, available for B&B OR self catering. There is a minimum 3 night stay for self-catering. |  |

Our farm is in the most beautiful countryside and you can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable time here. We have a herd of Red Poll Cattle on our organic farm, Grass Fed Beef For Sale , our own chickens to produce delicious eggs and home-grown asparagus. You can see the stars in the night sky and enjoy the peace of the countryside. Stonehenge, Longleat, Salisbury, the beautiful gardens at Stourhead, Bath and the South Coast are all within easy reach, and if you're travelling west from London, we make a good stopping off point - though many of our guests wish to stay longer than just one night! |
Tariff
Edwards Room £85 per night for 2. £50 for 1.
French Room £75 per night for 2. £48 for 1.
Family Room £80 per night for 2. £50 for 1. £95 for 3. £110 for 4.
Old Piggery (self catering) £200 for 3 nights, each additional night £60 -
£45 per night. Add £10 per person for breakfast in farmhouse if required.
