 | 'Ring O’ Bells 'was originally a public house built around 1800.
In the 1960’s it was one of several small pub's in the area which were closed by the local brewery and it became a family home.
Since then it has been carefully modernized and extended to preserve the character of the house and currently provides several letting rooms and owners private family accommodation. |

 | ‘Ring O’ Bells’ is within a 10 minute, level walk of local Pubs, Shops, Post Office, Garage and the Kennet and Avon Canal which offers pleasant walks, cycling, fishing and, of course, trips on the Kennet & Avon Trust boat, Barbara McLellan, which has disabled access, and sails from Bradford on Avon Wharf.
Should you wish to hire a narrowboat and sail the canal yourself, there are several hire fleet operators within easy reach. We can supply further information on request.
There is a network of country walks and cycle ways. Bicycles may be hired in at the Lock Inn Cottage, Bradford on Avon, which, incidentally, is located on the towpath and has canal-side Tea Rooms. If you bring your own bicycle, we can offer safe overnight storage in our garage.
The surrounding area has a total of 8 White Horses carved into the chalk hills. Crop circles appear with amazing regularity throughout the area and UFO sightings are regularly reported. |
