The Malvern Hills are within easy reach and closer still are many walks and several nature reserves. Within the area there are many National Trust and English Heritage properties and a wide variety of gardens open to the public.
Numerous leisure activities are available in the local area, including: walking, cycling, golf, shooting, tennis, squash, fishing, horse riding, boating and off-road driving. The Arts are just as well catered for, with theatres, galleries, craft workshops and cinemas all within easy reach.
Close by is the Three Counties Showground, home to the Royal Horticultural Society's Spring Garden Show, which holds various shows weekly throughout the year. Less than two miles away is the delightful historic town of Upton-upon-Severn, with a thriving marina and many pubs and restaurants. |
