In fine weather light refreshments can be enjoyed in the garden and riverside walks are only a five minute stroll away, with the added bonus of the Trans Pennine Trail, Sprotborough Flash and in the summer months the waterbus close by. The grounds of The Old Rectory are also home to a fine collecton of vintage cars. Overnight guests flying from Robin Hood airport can also enjoy free parking for up to two weeks and transport to and from the airport can be arranged.

Here, we gladly provide the following Audio/Visual Equipment: T.V, D.V.D, V.H.S, Flipchart, O.H.P (Overhead Projector), Big Screen. We have 24 secure Car Parking spaces within our grounds, the former home of Group Captain Sir Douglas Bader, the World War II hero and fighter ace. The origins of this grand house are Elizabethan. A full range of Buffet lunches can be provided, starting at £8 per head - please ask about special diets for more specific information. The Lady Bader Rooms boasts a fantastic view looking out onto the gardens of the Old Rectory, that is a 'Four Diamond Silver Award Bespoke Guesthouse'
