Crab Pot Cottage is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Flamborough on the East Riding of Yorkshire's Heritage Coast. The village has many amenities including pubs, restaurants, fish and chip shops, Chinese take-away, Co-op, village stores and even has a post office! Regular buses run to the nearby resort of Bridlington four miles away. |
We provide breakfast with a variety of choices with locally sourced produce, including the local butchers' home made pork sausages (though don't count on them all being an even size!) and dry cured bacon. The eggs are free range from a nearby farm and all other items are sourced as locally as possible. There is a choice of full English or Continental with daily specials from the board. Packed lunches are available for a small extra charge. For the walkers, cycle riders, fishermen, golfers and divers we have a drying room/storage available and the use of an outside tap or hose if required.
All our rooms are cosy and have a light and airy ambience with all the amenities you would expect. The beds have divan bases and have quality interior sprung mattresses and duvets. The Welcome Tray includes a variety of hot drinks and bottled water. The en suites have lever taps on the sinks and temperature controlled mixer-taps in the showers. |  |
 | We try to be as environmentally friendly as is reasonable. When the cottage was first turned into a B&B the external walls were all lined with thick insulation material and extra insulation placed in the loft. An energy efficient condensing boiler was installed along with a pressurised hot water service. All radiators have individually controlled thermostats. A false ceiling had to be installed incorporating sound deadening material. Day to day we separate items for recycling and conserve rainwater for the garden. |
