A view of Whitfield Bed & Breakfast in JuneWhitfield was converted in 1984 from a barn to a modern, comfortable and well equipped house. It is situated 1 mile west of Askrigg and a mile north of Bainbridge, in Upper Wensleydale, off the beaten track.
All rooms face south with panoramic views over the dale, fells and towards Semerwater.
Guest facilities include an en-suite double room and an en-suite twin room.
Both rooms have: Tea/coffee making facilities *Hair dryer *Toiletries *Television *Foot spa and massager - to help you relax and refresh your tired feet after a hard day on the fells, or browsing around the shops *Mini fridge to keep your drinks cool *Security box for your valuables.
Guests have the exclusive use of the comfortably furnished lounge, with log fire.

View of the front of Chapel End. Formerly this house was the northern half of the Congregational Chapel, in Bainbridge, which was converted to a high-standard house and has every modern facility, and is superbly situated overlooking the village Green with its stocks, and eastwards towards the Roman camp.
The building dates back to 1864 and still features the chapel bell and village non-chiming clock, as well as attractive arched windows and exterior stonework.
